Lead Developer

Required Background

The Lead Developer must have seven to ten years of development experience and three years experience as a lead developer. The Lead Developer must have tangible experience in the mix of required skills. A fundamental grasp of and practical experience with the software development life cycle (SDLC) are required.



Job Duties

The Lead Developer will perform the following duties:

• Develop custom applications for projects including entire systems and modules to existing systems.

• Perform development at all stages of the SDLC.

• Perform programming maintenance on all custom developed applications.

• Architect SQL databases for systems being developed.

• Perform data extractions and imports for systems.

• Program reports in MS-SQL 2005 Reporting Services and Crystal Reports.

• Be the software development practice leader. Maintain software development standards and stay current with changes in best practices.



Required Skills

• Visual Studio .NET 2005 (C#, TFS)

• BizTalk 2006

• .NET Framework

• MS-SQL Server 2000 / 2005 including SSIS and Reporting Services

• Service Oriented Architecture (SOA)

• XML transaction processing

• MS IIS

• UML / Object Oriented Design Methodology

• Fundamental understanding of MS Active Directory

• MS Office including Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, and Visio

• Strong verbal and written communication skills

• BS in Computer Science



Optional Skills

• MCAD or MCSD preferred

• Crystal Reports 8.5, 10, or XI
