We are seeking a VB.Net developer with 2 - 4 years of experience developing software solutions in VB.Net and ASP.Net. Strong SQL skills are a must.





This is an exciting opportunity to work for a fast-paced local development firm serving clients in a variety of different industries. Candidate will have the opportunity to work with a variety of technologies and have direct input on project deliverables and technical direction.





The position requires strong knowledge of relational databases and the ability to create normalized databases from client business specifications.





Candidate must demonstrate a broad understanding of information technologies, which includes requirement analysis, databases and development environments.





Responsibilities include:





Developing and maintaining customer applications for clients.


Assisting with the development of in-house applications/products.


Consulting with clients in regards to process improvements.


Developing and maintaining reports using SQL Reporting Services.








Requirements:





Candidate must be able to plan, write, and develop applications with minimal supervision.


3+ years designing databases with SQL Server 2000 or above.


Strong SQL language skills (including writing Stored Procedures and Triggers).


Excellent organizational skills and effective verbal and written skills.


Knowledge of the software development process.
