Job Description:



We are seeking to fill a position as staff writer to contribute to a number of our sites. The staff writer will be responsible for both researching and creating content as well as editing and providing feedback for a small writing staff who will also be contributing to the site.



The position is entirely remote. Beyond a weekly conference call, if deadlines are met the individual is completely free to work from home and select their own work schedule.





Primary Duties Include:



-Researching and preparing feature articles to be published on the site

-Editing and providing regular feedback for two other staff writers

-Editing articles submitted by industry experts

-Occasionally conducting interviews and reporting on current events.





Job Qualifications:



-Solid writing background, as evidenced through past writing experience or research

-Ability to meet demanding deadlines

-Familiarity with remote work a plus





Compensation:



-$28,000 rate for first three months.

-$30,000 automatic raise after three month mark.

-Payroll sent 1st and 15th of every month.
