Manager of Information Systems $65 - $70K

The Manager of Information Systems will safely, securely, and effectively maintain Company personal computers, computer servers, computer software, Internet connections, telephone communication systems, and will oversee computer training.

The MIS must:
* Develop procedures for employees to safely, securely and effectively use computers and run Company software programs. Will protect computers from viruses and other data corruption.

* Understand the workings of all Company computer hardware

* Understand all Company computer software applications and train others on their proper use

* Develop policies and procedures for employee proper use of computers - will hold employee training sessions on proper computer hardware and software use

* Work with employees to develop new computer applications to help them do their job more effectively.

* Determine the most effective and efficient software and hardware for Company, formulate policies and procedures for computer hardware and software purchases

* Plan an administer a disaster data recovery program at all locations

* Maintain an inventory of all hardware and software

* Develop and maintain a plan to effectively utilize outside computer consultants as well as hardware/software vendors

* Determine and maintain the most effective telecommunications system for the Company

* Maintain and update the Company web page

* Keep themselves up to date on computer hardware, software, and telephone communications equipment

* Be customer and vendor friendly, realize the importance of good customer and vendor relationships to ensure Company success

* Perform other duties as requested by CFO and President
