Public Relations

Person needed to promote terrific animals for a progressive animal shelter. Must develop media relations, solicit donations; have good writing & computer skills (write news releases, articles answer inquiries, etc.); strong organizational skills (ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously); planning & implementation skills, special events; people skills & a desire to make the Houston area a better place for animals. General hours are weekdays 9:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., although this position requires some irregular hours, weekend hours, and local travel.
